This 90+ acre living history site collection dates from 1870 to 1910,
focusing on the Muskoka area. The village includes Pioneer Homes, a General
Store, Inn, Blacksmith shop, Pioneer Woodworking Shop and Sawmill all
furnished in period style and costumed narrators. also feature our Muskoka
Museum and it reflects a chronological journey from our First Peoples
through pioneer settlement, development, industry, sport, entertainment and
tourism. Our current feature exhibit is entitled “The Story of Steam” and
explains not only the mechanics but how greatly our local history was
